Meet the Authors
Dr. Richard Jensen (“Slaughtering the Canaanites,” p. 4) lives in College Place, WA, with his wife, Dana. They attend the Walla Walla church. His latest book is titled Miracles, Faith, and Unanswered Prayer.
Sherri Langton (“Pulled From the Pew,” p. 8) is associate editor of the Bible Advocate.
Calvin Burrell (“Double Trouble Ahead?” p. 10) is editor of the Bible Advocate.
Charles Irwin (“Tending Broken Plants,” p. 12), a member residing in Quartz Hill, CA, is a semi-retired school teacher. He once attended Spring Vale Academy.
David and Angella Kidd (“Resetting the Clock,” p. 14) attend and serve in the Adelaide church in South Australia.
Howard M. Mesick, Sr. (“My Journey,” p. 18) is a resident of Harbor Healthcare and Rehab Center in Lewes, DE. His wife, Cathy, lives in the family home not far away.
Jill Richardson (“Embracing the Valley,” p. 20) has had many articles published in such magazines as Discipleship Journal, The Lookout, Light and Life, and Upper Room. Jill has also been active in her local church as worship leader, newsletter editor, social action director, and other roles. She lives in Warrenville, IL.
Tim Morgan (poem, p. 25) once edited and wrote for the Iowa chapter newsletter of United We Stand America, a national organization headed at the time by Ross Perot. Since then, Tim has closed his family business and has been serving the Lord in the pulpit. He lives in Newton, IA.
