God’s love is unconditional. He loves us, period. He sent His only Son, Jesus, to pay for our sins and satisfy the demands of justice for us. Though love is unconditional, grace has conditions. Grace must preserve the respect for Jesus‘ sacrifice. Anything else would be an injustice to Him.
Jesus is the gateway to eternal life. Grace is only given to those who repent of their sins and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. He can transform us from mere humans into actual children of God, destined for eternity. He wants to share His eternal good nature with us. We hope that every one of us comes to trust in His goodness, responds to His grace, and becomes all that He wants us to be!
Jesus wants to include us in His work of rescuing a lost world. His heart aches for those that are perishing. He’s asking us to make ourselves available so that He can share His love and His grace to others through us.
Scripture tells us that today is the day of salvation. One day, the door of grace will close, and the work will be done. It’s easy to get caught up in our day-to-day activities and obligations and miss the magnitude of the moment. But think about it. Once this moment is gone, it’s gone. We have this magnificent opportunity, right here, right now, to be His friends. If we live for Him now, for eternity to come, we’ll be so glad we did!
The Church of God (Seventh Day) is a church of fellow Christians committed to Christ and dedicated to fulfilling His Great Commission. We want to be His friends. We’d love to include you in this friendship!
