I still love reading Dr. Seuss books to my grandkids. As I sit to write this e-mail, these words from Marvin K. Mooney, Will You Please Go Now! pop into my head: “The time has come, the time is now.”
Well, the time has come, and the time is now! The website for the 2017 General Conference Convention has been launched. A few of you have seen the announcement about it in Church publications, and we want to ensure that everyone knows.
This is a very important convention. Members will create the infrastructure for our church as bylaws are revised. They will join with other believers in celebrating and catching the Vision of a Vibrant 21st Century Church, as well as fellowship with members/representatives from Canada, the United States, and other countries.
It’s time to join the celebration, so hurry to your computer and log on to
cog7.org/convention/2017-info. On this site you will find general information regarding Convention 2017 and be able to register for convention, register to vote, book a room with the hotel, and pre-order meal tickets.
Don’t delay! Once you register, pass this information along to your friends and family. And please make sure you share this info with your church.
