Welcome

Welcome – we are so pleased that you are exploring the official GC Convention 2025 website. Check back often as new details will be added.

Hopefully, you already know that GC Convention 2025 is scheduled for June 30th to July 5th in the beautiful city of Salt Lake City, Utah. Surrounded by God’s amazing creation, Salt Lake City is the perfect setting for our church family to gather for our biennial convention. The original purpose of this by-law mandated convention was to tend to the business of the church, which includes amendments and elections for Board of Directors. Today, that original mandate of caring for the business of the church has expanded to include an educational conference for the whole family. Yes, the business is still a high priority, but the event has become so much more.

Have you attended a previous convention? Then no doubt you already look forward to seeing old friends and family members, and even feeling the excitement of making new friends from across the USA, Canada, and perhaps even other countries. We have sometimes referred to convention as a big family reunion. Of course, we are part of the family of God, so come meet your relatives!

The theme of GC Convention 2025 is “Engage!” - a single word with a depth of meaning. Engage – the word alone invites action. Some have compared it to “plugging in” to a power source. It’s the power source that provides the possibility of activity. How does that relate to the family of God? Come join in the energy! Workshops and evening speakers will expand on this theme. Have we piqued your interest in engaging with the experience of learning more?

Look carefully at the information provided on this website so you can make the best decisions for you or your family. The website provides background details, with new information continually added over the next several months. Registration for Convention and hotels will be available early January 2025, when you will find detailed information about hotels, meals, excursions and more. Choose a hotel, purchase a meal or two, and volunteer to serve.

Your Convention Committee must contract for a certain number of rooms, and meals, in order to receive our meeting rooms at a cost we can manage. By staying in convention hotels and purchasing meals, you help meet these contractual obligations to keep total costs down for everyone. If you purchase just one meal per person on your registration, we can meet our meal ticket count.

Between now and July, please pray regularly for this important gathering. Pray for the chairman of the Board of Directors, the Convention Planning Committee; worship and workshop speakers; coordinators of the children, youth, and young adult programs; worship team members and ushers; and safe travel for those who will be attending.

Keep checking back for updates here on our official “GC Convention ‘25” website.

Until July, may you experience God’s richest blessings, love, and comfort. Then, come to Salt Lake City and “Engage” as we share Jesus to our world.

Facility Fee

(For those not staying at convention hotels)

Negotiations with hotels for our national conventions require that we contract for a given number of rooms each night. Fulfilling that contract significantly reduces the rental fees for meeting rooms at the facility. By staying at the convention hotel, attendees help reduce the overall cost of the convention. The facility fee allows those not staying at the convention hotels to pay a small share of the rental fee.

  • Adults: $75.00
  • Youth: $35.00
  • Children: $20.00
