PMT 2016

The purpose of PMT is to provide training in the mission field. Through this short-term trip, participants experience foreign missions firsthand, working closely with churches and youth from the host country.

Team members range in age from 13 years* to 113. We especially encourage our young adults and local church pastors to share in this remarkable activity. PMT not only teaches and trains for missions but also models members’ involvement in the Great Commission, thus increasing local church growth.

PMT1’s total cost is $503: $400 for the Mexican host church, $50 for G. C. Missions expenses, and $53 for mandatory medical insurance. Team members are responsible for their own round-trip plane ticket to Mexico City, flying out Sunday, December 18, and leaving Mexico City Wednesday, December 28, to return home. They also need a passport, so if you do not yet have one, you must acquire it ASAP in order to participate.

Please send the initial $153 with your application. You have until December 18 to get your round-trip plane ticket. We recommend you submit your application as soon as possible so that, after receiving the approval to join the team, you can find the best flight possible and buy your ticket. Each teammate must bring the remaining $350 in cash (American dollars) to the Mexican host church leadership in Mexico City.

If you don’t wish to attend PMT1 but would like to help a young adult go, you may sponsor one or more from your church or district or ask about someone else living in the States or Canada (or Europe, if any) who wants to go. Or you can donate to G. C. Missions to help with funds and scholarships for SWORD-age young adults in financial need.

Interested or need more info about financial sponsorship? Contact:

Bryan Cleeton, G. C. Missions director (bryan.cleeton@cog7.org) or

Monico Muffley, PMT coordinator (pastormonico@gmail.com).

*Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This trip is great for getting teenagers to connect with their parents as they minister together!
